Well, you gotta love a babywearing man. And obviously she loves it as well! We’re getting a lot of use out of our new Beco Butterfly 2 Baby Carrier. I’ve always been a Beco fan.

I find the newest model more secure for carrying my wee one on my back. I had previously owned the Beco 4th Generation and would find that my baby’s bottom was slipping into the waistband. The Beco Butterfly is a great front & back carrier especially when wearing your baby for extended periods of time.

I’ve owned many baby carriers…obviously many pouches! My baby carrier stash has seen mei-tai’s, ring slings, wraps, framed backpacks, and front baby carriers. Overall, my go-to carrier is a pouch as it quick on & off.  For extended babywearing (periods over 30 minutes), I love the Beco Butterfly. The baby’s weight is transferred to your hips, like a good backpack, so it’s very comfortable to wear. All you bjorn-wearers ought to try it!
